NotifyMi was a team effort and was built in 24 hours as our contribution to the Calgary Hacks 2019. It won us the first place. Fundamentally, the app is trying to solve a problem of reporting road incidents easily.

Further improved Java & Android skills
Our team had good role division which is partially why we won. My responsibility was to code and design the base Android app. Afterwards I assisted the other team-members when setting up Dialog Flow to have the app interact with Google Assistant. The project was an invaluable lesson in what matters most when working under pressure. Namely, effective role division, planning and framing the problem carefully, as well as focusing on simplicity. I also gained insight into what programming for a smart assistant is like.
